I'm a creative with an artist's heart and a business mind. And yes, those two frequently clash.
With a design for print background, digital marketing experience and years designing in agencies and for clients like Oxford Psychologists Press, Blackwells and Oxford University Press, I put together a course on book cover design for self-publishing authors.

Realising that when I went for coffee as a tired mum I lacked a soul-edifying magazine to read, in 2017 I conceptualised, worked with writers, designed and published iola bookazine. We've published seven issues over four years internationally. It's available here and on Amazon.
A bit more background..
I studied English & Publishing in the bookish city of Oxford, UK, before working as a book and layout designer and then running a design agency in Oxfordshire.
In 2019 I went through a devastating divorce. My workplace relocated whilst I was struggling to single parent and commute, so I found a new job in March 2020 - three weeks before Covid lockdown. Furloughed and home schooling I plot twisted into course creating and marketing training.
Most recently I've been creating digital content, sales pages and funnels, web pages and CRM workflows using platforms such as Kajabi, ClickFunnels 2.0 and Go High Level for hope*media network.
I'm currently working in communications for a missions agency.
